The Town and Village Tree Committees, along with Village Arborist David Allen will be hosting a memorial tree planting and Arbor Day celebration on April 27th at 10am. The memorial tree will be planted in memory of long-time village employee David Cretser near the DPW barns on Salo Drive. The event will include opportunities to participate in or watch the planting, mulching, and initial watering of these wonderful trees, as well as educational programming regarding the value of yard trees and forests.
If you'd like to join the community in honoring David, pick up a shovel and lend a hand, or just spend a pleasant morning learning more about the value of our community trees, stop by on Saturday the 27th and 10am - we'll hope see you there!
